Kèr Odrinlom (/ˈodrin/ /lom/ [sand; shore] [firm; solid]) is a subtropical Town located in the Kririsi̊mù Region of the Tetbur Commune.
The name Kèr Odrinlom is derived from the Tauric language, as Kèr Odrinlom was founded by Glêbrê Víhgā, who was culturaly Tauric.
Climate
Kèr Odrinlom has a yearly average temperature of 25°C (77°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 32°C (89°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 18°C (64°F). Kèr Odrinlom receives an average of 255 cm/y (100 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Kèr Odrinlom covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 2134 m (7001 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Kèr Odrinlom was founded durring the early 13th century in spring of the year 1248, by Glêbrê Víhgā. The establishment of Kèr Odrinlom suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.
Kèr Odrinlom was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the early 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Kèr Odrinlom is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
Kèr Odrinlom is buildings folow an organic layout of premissive cobblestone streets whihch gives the town a shape simmilar to a tree, if one views its streets from above. The town is protected by a renforced stone fence which sits atop earthwork defences, for some of the best inexpencive defences a town of Kèr Odrinlom's size could have. Astonishigly, the well-designed, yet cheep are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.
A look around Kèr Odrinlom gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring jsut long enough for it to be uncomfortable. Beneath this surface, the people of Kèr Odrinlom can be overheard having academic discussions, as well as talking about scholarly subjects in general. It’s quite clear Kèr Odrinlom places a lot of value on education and being a learned individual.
Civic Infrastructure

Kèr Odrinlom possesses an older civil lighting system consisting of street lamps. These lights provide nighttime illumination to most city streets.
Kèr Odrinlom has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.
Kèr Odrinlom has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Cultural Notes
Kèr Odrinlom is led by one or more incompetents. While they must have been very good at something to have acquired the position, they are fundamentally incapable of leading. Uncontrolled passions or lusts, commitment to a hopelessly impractical ideal, pigheaded obstinacy in the face of failure, a total lack of charisma or interpersonal skills, or profound laziness might all unfit them for their post.
Kèr Odrinlom's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by vertical proportions, pointed arches, external buttressing, and asymmetry in the general shape of its buildings. The decorative features of the style were key, consisting of large arched windows, pointed arches, vaulted ceilings, flying buttresses, and sculptures integrated into the structure itself. Occasionally, for very important buildings, an array of sculptures or one colossal sculpture might replace the entirety of the entrance to said building.
In Kèr Odrinlom most nights are accompanied by colorful ribbons of light in the sky.
The Chaneque near Kèr Odrinlom are known to be a mutant strain of the creature.
Kèr Odrinlom's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves ritual combat to channel Elven High Magic energies of tier 2 via recitation of scripture.

History
In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century, Kèr Odrinlom was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Kèr Odrinlom lost 130 people, 206 livestock, and 51 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 99, when members of Kèr Odrinlom's militia enacted an operation to transport a specific resource to a particular fortification unharmed. The operation was complicated by extremely dangerous terrain, including unfamiliar and poisonous plants which many ate while foraging. The conflict ended with an assault and siege on the fortification, which ended in a crushing defeat for Kèr Odrinlom's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Kèr Odrinlom's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
